= PROOF of 3 (of the 4) pages of the brochure for the experimental theatre society "Wij Nu", combining the manifest with an application form for its membership; printed on recto only, whereas the brochure eventually had 2 pages on recto and 2 on verso. One page (w. the application form) tipped onto orig. brown paper mount in upper corners, verso mount w. annot. "ontwerp P. Zwart Wassenaar" in blue ballpoint by Zwart and w. his address stamp in green; the other (double-)page tipped onto modern brown board along upper margin, dated "1925" in pencil by Piet Zwart on recto and "Piet Zwart Wassenaar" in blue ballpoint on verso.

"Uit de tweekleurige reclamefolder voor de vereniging van experimenteel toneel Wij Nu blijkt, dat ook Zwart niet afkerig was van het opvullen van het vlak met teksten, lijnen en balken, maar tegelijkertijd ontwikkelde hij, bij zijn regelmatige ontwerpen voor de puur typografische advertenties voor de Nederlandse Kabelfabriek, de vaardigheid om een grotere visuele spanning te creëren tussen het witte onbedrukte vlak en de toegepaste typografische bestanddelen" (Broos/ Hefting p.67).
