- Two monochr. plates sl. dampstained in blank margins. Otherwise contents very fine. Binding fine apart from the following minor imperfections: corners, joints and spine-ends sl. rubbed; 2 sm. stains on frontcover (0,5 cm. and 1 cm.) and some vague fingersoiling on both covers.

= Vol. II of a lavishly illustrated series of 4 vols. devoted to Tsarist hunting in Russia. Only the first 2 vols. were translated into French. The work is also remarkable for its striking bookdecoration, executed in colours and gold, by NICOLAY SAMOKISCH .
