= The printing on chine collé, the mount itself and the surrounding plate mark in the mount suggest a 19th cent. impression, made from a plate by an unidentified artist after the second state as listed under Hollstein 239, II: the print is without the shading of the shoulder of the man seen in profile near the left edge in the lower left foreground, and differs in some points compared to the third reworked state by Baillie (e.g. the darkening of the shadows), and it is also not identical to the later 18th and 19th cent. helio-engravings traced by us.
