75/5444 [Caricature]. Anonymous (17th cent.). "Kermis-gift, aan de weeze-drukkers". Etching, 20,5x21,6 cm. (image), w. 2 letterpress columns below.

- Large closed horizontal tear in the image; leaf soiled and w. wormholes in lower right corner and margin.

= Very rare unknown broadside. Not in F.M. Perhaps on taxes raised for orphans and widows. The print shows people in contemporary Dutch clothes but the buildings in the background are foreign (Italian or French). Perhaps a Dutch version of a foreign caricature print.

Hooghe, R. de (1645-1708). "Nieuw Liedt, van de drie-dubbelde Kruysvaert van de Ridders en Grooten uyt uythangborden gesprooten." Etching, 16,5x24,7 cm., w. letterpress song in 2 columns below (leaf size 38x27,5 cm.).

- Browned and soiled.

= Hollstein 163; Landwehr, Romeyn de Hooghe as Bookillustrator p.226; Dreesman II, p.429; F.M. 2792a (Febr. 1690): "Spotprent op de twisten tusschen Amsterdam en den Prins v. Oranje over de vermeende aanmatiging der Amsterdam. Magistraat ter benoeming harer eigen Schepenen volgens hare oude Privilegien (...)".

AND 6 others, i.a. "Den nieuwen kuyper" (anonymous, 1621. FM 1426) and FM 523.
