= Interesting collection concerning one of the three irrigation departments established around the turn of the 20th century to control and improve the irrigation of land for agricultural purposes. The department of the Brantas river and its side river was the most important. The collection in the album is divided into sections, showing dams etc. in i.a. the river Konto (Kali Konto) (i.a. the dam Siman, dam Damarwoelan and siphon Krapak), kali Bredjil, kali Landean, kali Batan and the Wangkal canal, and the bulding of a bridge over the Brantas near Kertsono (an account of 36 photos from the start of the construction sometime in the spring of 1923 to the festive opening early 1924). Also containing photos of dam bursts and other damages (i.a. caused by the 'bandjir', flooding due to heavy rain), images from the 'subsection Modjokerto' (i.a. of the office building during the awarding of a prize to a 'mantri' of the water management, a pumping station and a water station), and some images of agricultural fields and plantations (Wadoek Kras, Wadoek Balongombo).
