- Both vols. ofsetting from turn-ins; a few plates (sl.) (vaguely) waterstained; 2 plates w. sm. tear in blank margin; vol. 2 browned.

Edition with newly engraved views by Pieter van den Keere, initially published with 79 views, to which an additional number of 21 views/ maps was added to be bound in with the rest (prob. because they were not finished in time). These views are blank on verso. Furthermore, several copies of this edition are known to contain up to 6 extra engravings not mentioned in the list of contents, i.a. "Seylende Windwagen" and "Seylende Ysschuyt". Our copy contains 11 of the 21 additional views and 5 extra engravings (incl. the aforementioned two).
- Occas. yellowed; one plate torn; scattered old annots. Bindings worn and sl. dam. = De Buck 7572.
- Occas. sl. foxed/ dampstained in blank margin. Both covers scratched and w. cut; stain on backcover; upper joint splitting. Without the portrait, as in many copies acc. to Leendertz.
