- Dark impression; left corners trifle dam.; on paper with unidentified armorial watermark.
= Hollstein 20, the rare true 1st state (of 3), before the address of J. Danckerts and the monogram. This state not mentioned in Hollstein. With the manuscript collector's mark of William Esdaile (Lugt 2617), on verso and recto and with his annotation in pen and ink ("Josi sale N.126 (...)") and L.A. de Vries (not in Lugt) on verso.
- Sm. closed tear in lower margin, just within the image; sl. yellowed; vague waterstain near the upper edge on verso.
