= Hanou 1077. The periodical was continued as De hedendaagsche Momus after 1787. "Tot de vinnigste hekelschriften behoorde ook de "Haagsche correspondent", waarvan in 1786 tot Sept. 1787 bij Klaas Momus 89 nummers het licht zagen in proza en dicht." (Te Winkel, De Ontw. der Ned. Ter Horst p.126: "Toen Kersteman zag, dat de Spiegel der Weereld inderdaad een aftrek boven iedere verwachting vond, liet hij onmiddelijk Secreete Byvoegzelfs, of Nodige Sleutels voor de Twaalf Brieven van den berugten Astrologist Johan Christophorus Ludeman volgen. Deze "sleutels", die ook door Ludeman zelf heeten geschreven te zijn, verklaren niets uit de twaalf brieven, docht bevatten een nieuwe reeks van min of meer zotte en vermakelijke verhalen".

Deze "Meester Franciscus" was niemand minder dan Franciscus Lievens Kersteman. Het werk viel buitengewoon in de smaak (...). Wij kunnen ons thans bijna niet voorstellen, wat dit boek voor onze achttiende-eeuwsche voorouders beteekend heeft. Het werd door talloozen uit alle standen en klassen voor een goddelijke openbaring gehouden en Ludeman beschouwde men als een onfeilbaren profeet."

= Third work is an often reprinted and famous libel on predestination, directed against the Counter-Remonstrants. Last work is a satire on Jesuits.

Martinet, p.75-80: "(...) heeft hij in zijn laatste levensjaren nog een aanval tegen de ordeloosheid ondernomen en een boek geschreven waarin hij gedragsregels gebaseerd op Godsdienst en Rede gaf. Hij beschouwde het huisgezin als het belangrijkste element van de samenleving en daarom richtte hij zich tot het huisgezin in een werk dat vooral als een "Conquest of happiness" en voor een deel ook als een "Hoe hoort het eigenlijk" bedoeld was: Huisboek voor vaderlandsche huisgezinnen (1793) (...) Het Huisboek bevat, ter aanmoediging en bestendiging van de orde, huwelijksvoorlichting, de gehele kinderverzorging, onderwijsadviezen, gedragsregels voor jonge mensen die belangstelling in de andere sexe beginnen te tonen, rechten en plichten voor armen en rijken, en troostrijke gedachten voor de ouden van dagen."
