- Glue stains from sellotape in corners and lower margin; sl. soiled/ stained in left margin.

= It appears that the Senneton brothers used this border for books on law, with the symbol of Justice at the top and profile portrait of emperor Justinian below.
= Cut-out illustration from an unknown work showing a knight on a ladder trying to reach heaven, but being pulled down by four figures.
