= Shirley 513: "[The Keur family's] folio bible of 1682 has a finely executed general map in two hemispheres with the same corner decorations as in the Visscher-Berchem map of 1658 (...). Instead of the north and south polar circles there are astronomical diagrams (...)." The diagrams are still captioned "Polus A(nta)rcticus".
- Unobtrusive restored spots (partly sm. wormholes) in centre of image; small closed tears at both ends of flattened middle fold.
= Impressive and decorative map, the title-cartouches (one in Latin and one in French) respectively with mythical sea creatures and plants and animals.
- Mounted under passepartout.
