- Doubled; two brown stains in the image; white opaque paint (?) stains in centre.

= Curious print showing two rivergods at the bottom, in the centre a scene of a gentleman and a squire walking past the allegorical figure of Patience. Behind them a vague view of an Italian (?) (Rome?) city. In the upper left corner an allegorical female figure shielding a group of people under her cloak and above the allegorical figures of Fame and Father Time (or Death).

= Not found. Perhaps part of the series of seasons represented by ladies in elegant contemporary clothes, engraved by Guilliam de Gheyn and published by Le Blond. Cf. the print representing summer in the Rijksmuseum by De Gheyn. With the collector's mark of J. Kerner (Lugt 1567b) and a seller's stamp ("Graf G."?).
