- Three prints laid down.

= Three prints probably by a French photographer and with identifications in pencil: "1882 Femmes bambaras [...]?]" (mounted); "Jeune filles de Baidou (Gambie) 1882" (two prints on one mount) and two prints of Zulu women by probably an English photographer (both w. later date "1870s" on verso and 1x w. tear in image).

ADDED: 3 stereophotographs w. African scenes, i.a. two showing the ivory trade in Mombasa (both publ. by Keystone View Company).

= The photographer and artist Heinen was active as decoration painter in Amsterdam. Many of his wallpaintings are lost now. The spectacular views, many taken from a high vantage point, i.a. show the Dam, Stadsschouwburg, Paleis voor Volksvlijt, Centraal Station, Oosterdok, Oude Zijds Voorburgwal, and Amsteldijk.

= This unique cibachrome print was commissioned by the exhibition makers from the original autochrome (colour glass slide, ±1925) by LEENDERT BLOK.
