= Cornelis Borsteegh became the "Stadstekenmeester" of the city of Gouda in 1819 (Scheen 1981). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LVII.
- Browned; mounted under passepartout.
= Bosboom has made other drawings with monks and a similar organ.
Anonymous (early 19th cent.). (Landscape with two men in a boat in front of a ramshackle farm). Drawing, brush and ink, 20x27,5 cm.
- Foxed and sl. browned.
Anonymous (late 18th cent.). (Woman with headscarf leaning forward). Drawing, black and red chalk, 27x19,5 cm., "N 81" in black chalk.
- Yellowed. = With attribution to Johann Nothnagel (1729-1804), probably based on the monogram (?) "N".
AND an engraving with shades of brown in woodcut showing Mercury and Jupiter in the clouds (probably after a drawing) (laid down).
- Foxed and w. vague horizontal fold.
AND 3 handcol. lithogr. plates of Napoleon (2x) and Joséphine (all three lithogr. by DELPECH after ?).
- Sl. foxed/ stained; upper left blank corner torn off.
= On Albertus Johannes Brandt see The Dutch drawings in the Teyler Museum: artists born between 1740 and 1800, p.72ff: "Albertus Jonas Brandt took drawing lessons with the flower painter Jan Evert Morel (1769-1808), while working in his father's bookshop and bookbinder's business. He subsequently became a pupil of the famous still life painter Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os. (...) Strongly influenced by Jan van Huysum (1682-1749), Brandt was much admired in the 19th century for his precise and accurate reproduction of fruit and flowers, and for his enormous technical ability. (...) He died at the early age of 33. His drawings fetched high prices when his estate was put up for auction in 1821." SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LVII.

- Closed tear in left part; paper remnants along edges on verso from former mount; foxed and partly browned (mostly along edges). Frame with a few damages.
= A very accurate probably 17th century copy on laid paper after the drawing no.876 E in the Uffizi, Florence. The vague pencil underdrawing and the accuracy of the copy suggests that the copy was made with the drawing on sight or even with the use of the drawing. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LVIII.
- Mediocre condition. Mouldy spots in upper left corner/ margin; some creases; upper right blank corner dam.

- Professionally flatteded vertical fold in right half.
= Nice sketch leaf w. studies for an illustration to De Lafontaine's fable "La Mort et le Bucheron" (information supplied in pencil on verso). Tipped under passepartout w. typescript exhibition label of Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar.
Chaplin, C.J. (1825-1891). (Study of two women making music). Drawing, black chalk, 31,5x22 cm., signed "Ch. Chaplin" in pen and ink (stamp?).
