= Charming toy for adults. When singing, the birds open their beaks, turn their heads and move their tails. The bottom without any manufacturer's indication. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XLV.
- With ink biting, causing weak parts in the drawing.
= The automaton depicts a Dutch view with a bridge over a waterway on which boats sail and people and carriages crossing the bridge. The whole driven by a wheel turned by falling sand. With annotation on the clipping "Gerrit Manhe(?) te Rott. gekogt Aug. 1801 voor f40".
- Small waterstain lower right corner blank margin.
= Signed by the wedding couple and probably the groomsmen and -women.
= Advertisement or commerative print for/ by the Leidsche Katoenmaatschappij (1836-1936).
- One of the crescent moons at her feet lacking; paint chipped/ lacking (mostly on the back of the statue).
= With manuscript ticket on verso frame: "Dit is de ouderlijke woning van overgrootvader B.G. de Winter te Apeldoorn Swolschweg[?] N.147. Vervaardigd door H. de Winter 1854. Oud 74 jaar 1928". Remarkable collage made entirely of shredded postal stamps.

= Including molds for the two sides of a so-called "Löser" for 3 Taler, 1617 reading "Fridericus Ulricus D:G: Dux Brunsvicensis et Luneburg" and "De et Patriae. Anno Domini 1617".
= Baron Scotford was a prolific American silhouette artist, who rapidly cut free hand silhouettes for over 30 years (±1910-1940). He moved to Europe around 1910 and toured in various European cities until settling down in London in 1912.
